The Erasmus + programme fosters international mobility of teaching and non-teaching staff of higher education institutions as well as enterprises employees for teaching and teachers training purposes. Mobility is possible among institutions holding an ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) which have stipulated an interinstitutional agreement.

The Integration and Promotion of Staff Training Courses at Universities across Europe (IMOTION) project is a one year initiative approved for funding within the European Commissions Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus Accompanying Measures grant agreement number 2013 2888 / 001 001) starting in October 2013.
IMOTION aims at creating an online platform that will centralise information about staff training events organised in Europein order to provide easy access to the information. The platform will help Higher Education Institutions with the promotion of staff training events, it will help those organising job shadowing to find appropriate people and also enable staff to find the appropriate training or job shadowing they are looking for. The platform will also allow organisers to get feedback from the participants at their events.
The general objectives of IMOTION are to achieve a better promotion and to increase the quality Erasmus training events, to attract more participants from mobility or international relations offices and also to involve staff members of doctoral education units, welcome and support services, press and communication, libraries, accountant and financial, IT.
