Studying abroad is a central part of Erasmus+ and has been shown to have a positive effect on later job prospects. It is also an opportunity to improve language skills, gain self-confidence and independence and immerse yourself in a new culture. Erasmus+ also offers the chance to combine studying abroad with a traineeship. Opportunities are available for students at Bachelor, Master or Doctoral levels.
Unimore Students can be part of this fundamental European Program through the Calls for Applications annually published by our University. Please refer to the following links in order to receive all the information you may need.
Student Mobility for Study
Student mobility for study, the centrepiece of the programme, enables students at higher education institutions to spend an integrated period of study of between 3 months and 12 months in another Programme country. Send your application to the Call for Applications annually published by our University.

European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)
ECTS is a credit system designed to make it easier for students to move between different countries. Since they are based on the learning achievements and workload of a course, a student can transfer their ECTS credits from one university to another so they are added up to contribute to an individual's degree programme or training. ECTS helps to make learning more student-centred. It is a central tool in the Bologna Process, which aims to make national systems more compatible. ECTS also helps with the planning, delivery and evaluation of study programs, and makes them more transparent.
