Academic Programs

Degree courses at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia consist of a system based on two cycles or levels, sequential to each other. The first cycle, which lasts 3 years, awards a Bachelor’s Degree (Laurea), while a further 2 years of study produces a Master’s degree (Laurea Magistrale). There are, however, a number of “Single Cycle”, or “Combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree courses” lasting 5 or 6 years.

For a detailed description of the whole system please have a look at the Degree Structure at UNIMORE section.
